As a busy journalism student in Toronto, travel is not exactly the most practical hobby. Between tuition, deadlines, and trying to keep up with everyday life, it can feel hard to justify. As someone who loves travel too much to put it on hold, I have spent years finding ways to make it work on a student budget.​

 

Years of trial and error have allowed me to master the art of affordable travel, allowing me to explore the world more as a university student than ever before. I've been able to visit 20 countries and counting since starting post-secondary.
